This Argentinian band from the Nineties is a very good surprise: it proposes on its only CD a work which could be considered as The Lamb Lies Down on broadway II. От себя добавлю что это сплошное великолепие, редко такое можно услышать. Все вещи просто прекрасны. Чисто Дженезисовский саунд, вокалист местами очень похож то на Габриэля, то на Фиша. Некоторые вещи исполнены на испанском. Уж на что я ненавижу испанский, но здесь даже не замечаешь, что поют на другом. Просто нет слов, для того чтобы выразить все те чувства, которые испытываешь при прослушивании этого диска. Продолжительность 42 мин. Непременно искать всем любителям Дженезиса периода 74-75 годов.

Расскажите о себе. Когда и где родились? Есть ли у Вас музыкальное образование. Если да, то какое?
Родился 10 сентября 1966 года в Аргентине, город Бакалавр.
Я четвёртый сын из пяти братьев. Мой старший брат увлекался музыкой и слушал Led Zeppelin, Supertramp, Kiss, Focus, Sui Generis.
Мои братья брали уроки игры на гитаре. В семилетнем возрасте я впервые начал пробовать играть на гитаре.
Во время обучения я пытался играть не только то, чему меня учили..
В 1980 году я поступил в студийную муз.школу Pianissimo. Это была частная академия. Я учился вместе с Enrique Berro Garcia. Чуть позже записал диск вместе с первым гитаристом Genesis Anthony Phillips.Я был счастлив, работать с ним!!!!
Энтони вдохновлял меня, если что то не получалось-подбадривал. Это был мой лучший учитель!!!!
С 1994 года я с семьёй живу в Чили.
Где вы познакомились с Mario, Horacio, Daniel & Ignacio?
На чердаке … Мы играли песни своих кумиров Genesis, King Crimson, Jhetro Tull, E.L&P, Pink Floyd, Procol Harum

История, биография группы (поподробнее) нигде нет информации.
Это было объединение любителей музыки с разным музыкальным опытом.
Нас больше влекло сочинение музыки, чем результат, мы любили то, что
делали. Мы выступали в школах, в театрах. Нас везде тепло принимали. Играли мы только произведения группы Genesis. Они были нашими вдохновителями, и мы больше всего любили именно Genesis. В 1990 году был выпущен наш диск , который потом был отремастирован на проглэйбле Musea Records, и повторно выпущен в 1993 году.
Почему выпущен только один диск?
Группа распалась.
Почему вы решили играть не коммерческую музыку?
Это не было целенаправленным решением, просто мы делали то, что нам
нравилось.
Все ли участники RAEL знакомы с творчеством Genesis?
Мы играли многое из Genesis в течение нескольких лет, пока не
записали диск Mascaras Urbanas.
Кто в группе лидер?
Трудно сказать, наверно невозможно. Каждый играл свою роль.
Лидерство не закрепилось за одним из нас. В разных ситуациях были
разные лидеры, это вопрос времени и пространства.
Были ли концертные выступления, туры?
У нас было множество концертов и несколько туров.Мы выступали в Аргентине и Чили.
Есть ли видеозаписи концертов?
Да,есть
Есть ли сайт группы Раэль?
Сайта Rael нет.
По мнению некоторых знатоков вы являетесь (наравне с NEUSCHWANSTEIN & Citizen cain) наиболее удачным продолжением Genesis. Даже Marillion с Fish не удалось передать той сказочной и душевной атмосферы Дженезисовского саунда. Как вашей группе удалось это?
Мы любили Genesis. Мы имели успех в Аргентине и некоторых
южноамериканских странах, играя музыку Genesis.
Вас называют удачным клоном Дженезис. Это вас радует, или огорчает? (лично меня очень радует)

Мы не играем вместе с тех пор, как группа распалась в 1994 году.

Сейчас никаких.
Какова судьба чудо вокалиста Ignacio Rodrigez? Есть ли у него сольные проекты вне Раэль?
Нет.
Интересно, сами оригинальные участники Дженезис знают ли о вашем существовании? Если да, то какие впечатления о вашей группе?
Этого я не знаю.
Что Вы думаете о творчестве таких групп как IQ, Twin Age, Moongarden, NEUSCHWANSTEIN, Citizen cain, Marillion 83-87, Cast?
Мне нравился Marillion, мы играли одну их песню, когда начинали. С
работами других я не знаком.

I was born on the 10th of September 1966 at Bs. As., Argentina. I am the fourth son of a five little men brotherhood; poor mom!!. Since always, music had been "around", I remember my older brother´s parties where I could hear records of Led Zeppelin, Supertramp, Kiss, Focus, Sui Generis, among others, (they weren´t "any party"!!!). I also have in my mind an image of Rita "the maid", trying to make me dance at Twist & Shout´s beat ; I was around seven years old at those days. My first approach to the guitar happened when I saw my brothers taking guitar lessons; I was always "trying to watch", so my mother put me on the list. My brothers gave up, I continued alone...
Years past and teachers too...the truth is that I didn´t last too long whith anyone...I wanted to play freely, and not only the songs they taught me, I wanted freedom to play whatever I wanted by my own. In those years I tried to approach "guitar formal studies", but it was too much for my anarchic spirit of those times...At the beginning of the 80´s I begun studding and teaching at Pianissimo, a private academy; I studied with Enrique Berro García. "Quique" had recorded with first Genesis guitarist Anthony Phillips; this was too much for me!!!! He was inspiring, encouraging, and I could say, my best teacher until that time. He succeeded in putting some scores in front of me!!!...I learned the basic reading of music. Although he was very important for RAEL´s birth, group from which I was member since it´s beginning in 1985 until it´s dissolution in 1993.
RAEL began whith friends´s meetings at the attic of one of it´s members, where we used to play some old pieces from our favorite rock bands (Genesis, King Crimson, Jhetro Tull, E.L&P, Pink Floyd, Procol Harum, etc...). We started playing in schools, little theatres...(we choused to play almost exclusively Genesis pieces since they were the ones we played better and also our favorites). Very soon we find ourselves playing at the most important theatres of Bs. As., followed by a considerable number of fans, and shearing billboard whith stars that I had known in my childhood and who had many years of career. All of these didn´t stop surprising as, and may be, make as feel a little uncomfortable. On 1990 "Máscaras Urbanas" appears, the only RAEL´s CD, which was reedited by Musea Records. In 1993 we went on tour to Chile twice, the first time on January, and the second time,on August where we gave an unforgettable concert in Santiago de Chile.
Since 1994 I live in Chile whith Diana and our kids. Since then, I´ve played for a while with the group "Nimbus", then formed a guitar trio with Juan de Dios Parra and my friend Jorge Salinas, we called us "The Antiparras". At the beggining of 1998 a Guitar Craft course was realized in Chile, at Quilpué city; I met Ismael there. At that time, I was moved whith my family to the "V Region", running from Santiago´s smog. Some month later, after the course, I phoned Ismael and we started meeting once a week. Since long ago I was attracted by the idea of playing with a classical string instrument, in fact, we had tried it with the Antiparras, without much succes. I commented these to Ismael, and he told me that he knew the right person; Paulette and Ismael had known each other since long time ago, we had some meetings, recorded a song for a friend, and then, we arranged some old pieces; these time the result was "the expected".
In the last five years, I have attended four Guitar Craft Seminars conducted by Robert Fripp; since then, I've been commited whith G.C principles in my musical life and in other areas of my daily life.

Arround 1985.

Just a reunion of music lovers with defernt degrees of experience in music
playing. We trusted the process rather to the outcome, we loved what we
were
doing. I think part of this answer is also in the web page I am sending in
the first question.

The band fall apart.
>6. Why did you decide to play non-commercial music?
It was not a decition, we just played what we loved to play.

We played lot of Genesis pieces for several years before recording Mascaras
Urbanas.

That is difficult to say, may be impossible, each one were playing his
role.
may be leadreship not was a fixed role, so different situations, different
leadership, also is a matter of time and space.
>9. Did band make tours or play gigs?
Yes we did lots of gigs and some touring too.

Performance videos do exist.

We loved Genesis music, and we got popularity in Argentina and some South
America countries playing Genesis music, somone from the press said that we
where Genesis clones!, but we arenґt.

I liked Marillion, we also played a song of them in our beginnings, also
